Pasta and stuff

While you can technically use any pasta shape for this, I really like thin spaghetti or angel hair.


  • 8 oz. thin spaghetti
  • 1 fresh lemon
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley


  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil for the pasta
  • Chop the parsley and combine it with the Parmesan
  • add the olive oil and minced garlic to the pot
  • Remove the pot from the heat

Pork & Ginger

These pork & ginger pot stickers may take a little time and effort, but the flavor and freshness can't be beat.


  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • 1 small head green cabbage
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp vegetable oil


  • Peel off the outer leaves from the cabbage
  • Heat 2 Tbsp of oil over medium/high heat
  • Combine the raw ground pork, peeled and grated ginger
  • Serve immediately with asian sauce

Pesto Shrimp Pasta

My mom’s spaghetti and meat sauce doesn’t call for anything extraordinary. It’s totally basic, that’s what makes it good.


  • Ground Beef
  • Tomato sauce
  • Diced tomatoes
  • Canned mushrooms


  • Brown the ground beef and drain excess fat
  • Bring the mixture to a boil and then simmer
  • Boiling the spaghetti according instructions
  • Dish it up
